About TBFF

Thanks for putting your Best Foote Forward!

Welcome to my website! My name’s Jordan Foote and I’m a junior at Baker University, studying Sports Media and minoring in Sports Administration. From commentating my own Madden NFL games to making flashcards with the stats of my favorite players, I found out what my passion was at a very early age. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with some prominent local sports media personalities and experience so much via school and outside avenues to better prepare myself for future work in the field.

My goal entering college was to establish my own brand. I wanted to come up with a catchy name and spread a positive message while doing so. That’s when The Best Foote Forward was born. Not only is it a play on my last name but every time I publish something, it reminds everyone to always be the best possible version of themselves.

In September of 2017, I picked up sports writing as a hobby. Starting off on Sportsblog.com, I posted my first writing on the site and continued for a few months. Towards the end of the year, I was blessed enough to have two other websites reach out to me. I published work on Pro Sports Fandom and Ben’s All-Out Blitz as a result. The work I did for these two websites helped propel me to an opportunity I never thought I’d receive.

Kings of Kauffman is a Kansas City Royals-based news and analysis website (part of the FanSided Network). From January-April of 2018, I served as a site expert. My responsibilities included proofreading others’ work, being in charge of social media accounts, branding, sharing all posts and ideas as well as contributing 20-30 posts a month. This was the best opportunity I could have ever asked for just four months after picking up writing.

In October of 2018, I received another amazing opportunity. Joey Daly, founder and owner of Hoop Central, extended an offer for me to write and publish for his website. With the brand having well over 150,000 followers on Twitter (and counting), this provided me a chance to truly get my name out in the sports world and break big news.

Before the turn of the year, I was promoted to Lead Writer at Hoop Central. Under this new position, I was responsible for copy editing, proofreading, tasking my team with thinking of ideas, publishing articles, etc. on top of producing my own content!

Towards the end of the 2018-19 academic year, I signed a pair of one-year contracts with Fansided. The first one allowed me to become a member of Hoops Habit and cover the Milwaukee Bucks team beat. The other opened the door for me to join the FS News Desk and write about all things NFL.

You’ll be able to find everything I publish right here, ranging from NFL/NBA/MLB to any podcasts or YouTube content I play a role in! Thanks, as always, for your support and viewership!
